The Consultation

Your consultation price is only $50.  During this session, we will discuss your personal hair care history, your styling preferences and your lifestyle in order to determine if Sisterlocks are right for you. You will also have "TEST LOCKS" put in your hair to see if they will hold, check sizes, discuss amount of scalp showing, settling-in time, etc. This consultation is essential to ensure you get your Sisterlocks™ done in the most suitable way.  If you decide to book an appointment, a $250 deposit (non refundable) will secure your locking session (s).  In addition you will be provided with instructions to prepare your hair for the locking session.

 

Installations start at $1500 for up to 3 inches of hair and $100 for each additional inch, Enjoy movies, music, or you may bring reading material if you prefer, because the locking process can take from 10-20 hours or even longer in some cases. The sessions may be divided into two or three sessions if necessary  depending on scheduling availability.  Bring lunch, snacks, dinner and beverages.   The average Sisterlocks™ customer will leave their session(s) with an average of 350 -400 or more locs depending on the size of the locks that you choose.    We will schedule your follow-up visit before you leave, and you will be instructed on how to shampoo and take care of your hair exclusively with the Sisterlocks™ Starter Shampoo Kit which is provided to all newly installed clients.   Good maintenance is the key to gorgeous locks and gorgeous you! 

 

The Follow-Up Retightening Session

You will need to schedule your follow-up visit after at least two shampooing's, which is usually within one month from the time of your installation. The integrity of your locks will be assessed, and locks that have come undone due to washing, etc. will be retightened.  and you will be given an idea of how long the settling-in process is likely to take. We can also begin discussing styling tips for the 'total look' that's right for you!  The next retightening appointment will then be scheduled for the following 4-6 weeks, and will be scheduled  monthly until the locks have settled which can take between 6 mths-1 1/12 years depending on the hair texture and your preference. From thereon, appointments can be scheduled between 4-6 wks.

 

Regular Maintenance Services

Retightenings: Start at $150.   For transfer clients, a consultation session and a $50 deposit is required to book for all retightenings and services.  Please arrive with freshly washed hair.

*To maintain the integrity of your Sisterlocks™️, retightenings are done every 4-6 weeks.  After 8 weeks, an additional $50 per missed week will be assessed. This is in addition to your regular retightening fee. Please get your retightenings done on time!

 

Touch- Up Retightenings (first four rows of front and back of hairline): $50.  $20 deposit is required to book an appointment.

 

Styling and pipe cleaner sets only: $50 and Up

Repairs:  Repairing Sisterlocks™️ starts at a base price of $500 plus $50 for each additional hour. This service can take up to 8 hours depending on the level of damage.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY CHILDREN FRIENDS OR RELATIVES TO ANY APPOINTMENT.  YOU WILL BE ASKED TO RESCHEDULE IF ACCOMPANIED BY ANYONE.  A RESCHEDULING FEE WILL APPLY,  PAID PRIOR TO THE RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.
